1. Navigating mcFurbish's Return Process: Shipping Your iPhone Back

Embarking on the return process is a breeze, but before starting, please make sure that you are still within your 30-day return period. Your 30-day return right begins on the day that the package was delivered to you. If this period has already elapsed, please refer to the last section of this article to understand your remaining options.

To start the Refund process, if you are within the mentioned return period, just follow these steps:

. Fill out the Returns Form:

Start by completing our returns form https://swappie.com/ie/returns/ This form collects the essential information needed to process your return. Once you've submitted the form, you will receive further instructions via email.

. Prepaid Return Shipping Label:

After submitting the returns form, you will be emailed a prepaid, DHL Express return shipping label. This label is provided to simplify the return process for your convenience.

. Securely Package Your Phone:

Carefully pack your phone, ensuring it is well protected during transit. Please make sure NOT to include any SIM cards, as we can't guarantee the return of these. Before sending the device to us we recommend the following:

• Check that your phone has been fully switched off.

• Pack the phone in a rigid package (eg. a cardboard box).

• Ensure that the phone is well cushioned and cannot move freely inside the package.

• Make sure that the phone cannot switch on inside the package.

• The outer package can not have any unnecessary markings, barcodes or labels. If you send your phone in a reused box, please remove or hide any previous labels and markings.

• Due to shipping restrictions related to lithium batteries, please do not send the phone if you have any reason to suspect the battery might be defective or faulty.

. Attach the Return Label:

Affix the provided return label to your package. This label is crucial for accurate tracking and processing of your return.

. For those using the DHL Express Collection Option:

We recommend booking a DHL Express collection using the waybill number found on your return shipping label. This option ensures a convenient and secure return process.

. Important Note:

For a secure and hassle-free return, please avoid using any other courier or postal service, not specified by mcfurbish.

. Scheduling a DHL Express pick up:

To schedule a DHL Express pickup please follow the steps below. Please note that this cannot be done on the mobile version of the DHL Express website. 

• You can schedule a DHL pickup here: https://mydhl.express.dhl/ie/en/schedule-pickup.html Please make sure that you have the correct country flag selected on the top right corner.• Click 'Schedule a Pickup'

• • Click 'No' when asked if you need a label.
  • Enter the WAYBILL number found on your returns shipping label. Removing any spaces.
• • Add your phone number, and click 'Next'.
• • Enter your address and contact details. 
• • Choose pickup from 'Home Address' when asked 'Where should the courier pick up the shipment?' and click 'Next'.
• • Enter the package details as follows: Total Weight - 0.5kg, Dimensions - 35 x 27.5 x 5
• • Pick a suitable time range for a pickup.
• • You will receive an email from DHL Express with the confirmation of your chosen date and time for collection.
  
  
  

2. Refund Timelines: When and How to Expect Your Money Back

Once we receive your phone back, our warranty team will process your return within approximately 5 business days. Following this, we will issue the refund for your order and notify you of this via email. The refund payment will appear in your bank account within 5 business days. 

. Note: if your phone has the Find My iPhone feature enabled, mcFurbish will not be able to issue the refund until this has been disabled, as this feature restricts our access to the device.

Not happy with the product? Noticed a problem? Changed your mind? No worries. We offer a generous 30-day right to return for any reason. We also provide a comprehensive 12-month warranty, to address any potential issues with your phone.

. Returning Your Phone or/and Accessories for a Refund

If you're considering returning your phone for a full refund, you're entitled to do so within the 30-day return period. It's imperative that the phone, along with all the original accessories and packaging, is returned in the same condition that it received in.

For those looking to return only specific accessories instead of the complete package, rest assured, this option is available within the same 30-day return period. We kindly ask that any accessories you wish to return are also in their original, unaltered condition, to ensure a seamless refund process.


. Expired right to return period

The right to return exists in case you change your mind about the purchase, however if after 30-days of receiving the package, if we are not notified of any defects with the product, we will assume the transaction to be permanent. You are still protected by our free mcFurbish Warranty service in case you experience any issues with the phone.
